The University of Duhok's Directorate of Institutional Research and Planning (DIRP) organized its first workshop on June 19th at the University Council Boardroom, specifically designed for officers of the University Policy Office (UPLO). The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Faek S Diko from DIRP, who provided valuable insights into the concept and purposes of policies and procedures.

During the interactive session, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of how policies and procedures are initiated and the factors that govern their contents. Dr. Diko shared practical examples of a procedure, allowing participants to grasp the application of these concepts in real-world scenarios. To enhance understanding, a flowchart illustrating the step-by-step process of drafting a procedure was also shared.

The workshop provided UPLO officers with valuable knowledge and tools necessary for effective policy and procedure development.
