On Wednesday 13/11/2024, the SCSP (Steering Committee of Strategic Planning) convened to discuss key updates and policy developments crucial to the University of Duhok’s strategic objectives.

1. Completion of Action Items:
   All tasks assigned in the previous meeting were successfully completed and approved.

2. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU):
   Dr. Nazar provided updates on the MoU policy drafted by Dr. Aveen, with SCSP members discussing and reviewing comments and suggestions before the deadline.

3. Policy Approvals:
   The SCSP approved three policies—UoD Event Management, UoD Quality Assurance, and UoD Policy Audit—after reviewing the final drafts and incorporating feedback.

4. Accreditation Work Plan:
   Dr. Faek presented a list of 33 policies essential for the accreditation eligibility stage, emphasizing the need for drafting, approval, and implementation by August 2025.
