On October 14th, 2024, the SCSP (Steering Committee of Strategic Planning) convened at the University of Duhok to discuss key policy developments and actions aligned with the university's strategic objectives.

Several important points were addressed during this meeting:

• Completion of Action Items:
  All action items assigned in the previous meeting were completed and approved, reinforcing the committee's focus on follow-up and execution.

• Job Fair Audit Report:
  Mr. Shavger presented the audit report for the CDC Job Fair held in June 2024. The report showed a 70% success rate in meeting policy implementation expectations.

• UoD Policy Auditing Framework:
  Dr. Diko introduced the UoD Policy Auditing Framework, which lays the foundation for policy auditing. The SCSP nominated three members for the University Compliance Committee.

• Event Management Policy Progress:
  The SCSP committee discussed challenges in finalizing the Event Management Policy, with a meeting scheduled for September 12th, 2024, to resolve these issues.

• Setting Policy Deadlines:
  The SCSP set deadlines for six important policy submissions.

This meeting underscored SCSP’s commitment to advancing the university's strategic goals through careful planning, auditing, and policy formulation.
